Here's a reclaimed wood farm table we recently finished. The table top is pre-Civil War heart pine and the legs came from a school house that was built in the 1890's. The wood for the tabletop was provided by our customer. It was from a house that their family used to live in. The house was torn down about 15 years ago but they had been saving the wood and wanted to do something to carry on the heritage of their loved ones. So, we came up with a cool way to do that by building them a farm table. Now this table can be passed on to the next generation as well. This is what we love to do!!!
The next two photos are before and after pictures of the wood. It's amazing what a little bit of elbow grease will do.
